A very nice KOA. Security gate at entrance. We stopped after the water had been turned off for the winter. Our site was not that level, the third step out of the coach was still a good two feet from the ground. I'm sure if I played around at the site I could have been level but I was there for only one night. Very peaceful.
The campground itself is wooded. The site we were in was large and was not close to other campers. However, saying that they are big rig friendly is not exactly true. The road to the park is marked 10 tons, most 40 foot plus are over 10 tons. The road inside the park is very narrow and not passable for anything larger than 40 feet, and even that would be tight. Other than that it looks like a very nice campground.
The road into the park was uneven and a little narrow for larger rigs, but if you go slow it's ok. The park's mamagement met us as we pulled in and directed us to our site. The park is wooded so no satelite TV, but they have over 100 cable channels. The park sites are gravel but level. The park is clean and quite. We stayed for 4 nights and will come here again.
As one of the previous reviewers stated, the park is at the end of a runway for Memphis so there is a lot of airplanes, either taking off or landing. Other then that the park is quiet and is near the Interstate. The staff is friendly. The pool was closed when we were here, but the hot tub was open and they have a massage therapist on duty, just make a reservation. Nice park.
Medium size park with dirt and gravel roads. Sites are close to each other but level. Lots of trees. If you have satellite TV make sure you ask for a non shade site.
Staff was very friendly. Had a dead battery in our tow vehicle and they called for a jump. Very nice park and area. Would like to stay in park for a while and explore area.
Stayed here for 5 months. Nice park with large paved sites. Owners are on site and take pride of their park. On some weekends they have parties in their shelter building. Wet and humid area though.
Excellent RV park. Everything was kept clean and owners took pride in their park. Staff was very friendly. Lots to do in area. Stayed here for 6 months and was able to attend many area functions. Hot August Nights is a must see for anyone interested in hot rods and old cars.
Web site states Big Rig friendly, not so. First site they put us in was smaller then RV and RV hung over in back and front. Site was not level either. Went to upper camp area and site was hard to get into with larger RV. Had to back up and pull forward several times. Quite area and nice surroundings.
Stayed here for 3 months. Nice place except they have gravel and sand road. Dusty most of the time. They do wet down the roads once a week. Next to busy highway. Marine air base 1/2 mile away with loud jets during the day.
